Vegan Chocolate Banana Bread

Have I made an easy, fluffy, soft, chocolaty banana bread? Yes! This banana bread is the chocolate version of my original banana bread. Its cake-like texture and chocolate&banana combination is magical.




  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C (356F)
  2. In a medium size bowl, mash one banana with a folk. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, ground almond and baking powder with a whisker to combine.
  4. Add in the soy milk and mushed banana and mix gently with a large wooden spoon. Be careful not to mix too much.
  5. Pour the batter into a loaf tin. Mine is –cm by –cm.
  6. Cut the remaining one banana in half vertically like in the pictures above and top on the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50mins or until an instead toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before taking out of the tin and cutting into slices.
  9. Toast it, spread some nut butter on it, enjoy!
